Z-23-01(A) – Earlier this year (January 12, 2023), the Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend the City Council approve an ordinance rezoning approximately 81 acres of land out of the T.G. Zachary Survey, Abstract 1759 from “SD” Suburban District to “C-PD” Multiple-Family Planned Development District, allowing an 18.5-acre multi-family development, primarily consisting of two-family dwellings, and preserving the remaining 62 acres. The applicant is requesting to amend their original request to include regulations allowing for a private trail system within the preservation area and additional tree preservation and mitigation regulations. The property is generally located 1,000 feet north of Veterans Parkway along the frontage road east of I.H. 820 [PUBLIC HEARING]
